What is Meditation?
Meditation is a technique used to clear the clutter of the mind, to bring about awareness and and peace. There are many different methods of meditation but all help to clear the mind of unwanted noise and bring the self into a heightened state of awareness that can often lead to states of deep peace and calm. Meditation has been shown to relieve stress, control anxiety, improve sleep, facilitate better concentration, and also to enhance emotional wellbeing.
Guided Meditation is a form of meditation where the facilitators voice and guidance are the focal point of the meditation. In Nia’s Guided meditations she first leads the listener in to a meditative state and then moves them through a journey of discovery, healing, and expansion. Often the meditations have themes to help with specific issues or desires. Nia also offers Reiki and Akashic energy healing through her meditations and participants often report a feeling of deep peace, powerful releases, and heart opening epiphanies.
